It’s when I’m sitting alone with the phone in my hand dialing your number and hanging up that I would trade a thousand tomorrow’s for just one yesterday.
It’s when I am really sad about something and need someone to talk to that I realize you’re the only one who really knew me at all.
It’s when I cry myself to sleep at night and it hits me how much I would give to hold you at that very moment.
It’s when I think about you that I realize no one else in the world is meant for me.

13 Things you need to know about your weight
Reader's Digest April 09 issue. no harm sharing it with whoever reads my blog :)
#1Honestly, it really is genetic. its called the Fatso Gene! LOL! Good news is that its now a life sentence, exercising regularly can offset the risk :)
#2 Some people just have more fat cells. Even if one lost a few Kg, the fat cell count still remains :( but there are ways to keep them small!
#3 You can change your metabolism. How? by exercising regularly lo! It was said that gaining as little as 5 Kg can slow the metabolism rate and send someone into a VICIOUS CYCLE!
#4 Stress fattens you up. Stressful circumstances spack cravings for carbo-rich snack foods!
#5 Mum's pregnancy sealed your fate. Like smoking can increase risk of low birth weight, and alcohol can damage baby's brain, unhealthy food can make the baby fat!
#6 Sleep more, lose more. (I like this! :D) With more sleep, one will have a greater sense of fullness, and will sponataneously lose weight! 'Sleep may be the cheapest and easiest obesity treatment there is!'
#7 Your spouse's weight matters. Research showed that weight gain and loss can be contagious. HAHAHA!
#8 Ah-choo! A virus can cause obesity! Adenoviruses. The virus seem to increase the number of fat cells in the body as well as the fat content of those cells.
#9 Biscuits really are ADDICTIVE! When shown the names of foods they liked, the parts of the brain that get excited were te same parts activated in drug addicts!
#10 Ear infections can taint your tastebuds. Those who suffered several ear infections had almost double the chance of being obese! the damaged nerves causes ppl to have a higher threshold for sensing sweetness and fattiness.
#11 Antioxidants are also anti-fat. Oxidising molecules damage the cells that tell us we're full. Over the years, these fullness signifiers suffer 'wear and tear', causing the STOP EATING! signal to get weaker and appetites to get bigger.
#12 Pick a diet, and diet. The four basic rules to eating: Consume carbs (not crabs!) in the form wholegrain and fibre. Avoid trans fats and saturated fats. Eat lean protein. Fill up on fruit and vegetables!
#13 You can be fat AND fit! 32 percent Obese ppl had mostly normal cholesterol, blood sugar, blood pressure and other measures of good health. While 13.5 percent trim adults were metabolically abnormal, making them more vulnerable.
you dont even need to do vigorous exercise. just 10-minutes of walking are just as effective. Or, forgo the lift for the stairs, get off one bus stop earlier.
Though most of them are what we already knew, i totally agree with the 10-min walk a day cos i experienced it myself. In my secondary school days i was fat pls. thn when i went to NP i walk to school everyday. took me abt 10-15 minutes. i didnt even do swimming at that time.
since then, every CNY my relatives will say i slimmed down alr and they've been saying it for like 3 years?! i think its bcos they only remembered me for being so fat -.- but its ok. i enjoy hearing that from them every year! HAHA! xD
